Cheating is one of those things that many people believe a relationship can never recover from. Until you’re standing in those shoes; it’s nearly impossible to make that call.

Do things together. Make friends as a couple. Build a life together rather than existing as two people living separate lives but sharing a space. It makes a huge difference.

Make the most of Your Time Together

If you want to keep your partner at home and make sure he or she only has the energy for you in your life you’re going to need to make the most out of your time together. This does not only include the bedroom though that is important.

You need to engage your partner in the relationship and make sure that he or she is involved in what’s going on and excited about the things to come. Build a sense of excitement and anticipation throughout the day. Give your partner something to think about and look forward to. It works better than most people realize.

Fix the Problems in the Relationship

The bottom line is that people in healthy relationships don’t generally feel the need to cheat. There’s something that’s missing that the “other person” can provide or there would be no need to cheat. If you really want to work things out you’re going to need to figure out what’s missing and give it to your partner.

Some of the common pressure points or problem areas for relationships include the following problems: a lack of attention, feelings of loneliness, not feeling wanted, lack of appreciation, no respect at home, and a great deal of stress. Eliminate the problem and begin building the relationship on the good memories and moments you share.
